The downtown merchants of Cody organized a fund raiser to buy boots and coats for the children of Head Start. Twenty local artists were asked to decorate large (3 ft tall and approx 32 in around) boots which were placed around town and then raffled off at the Boot Scootin’ Boogie event in September.
